Portugal Coach: Paulo Bento
Bento was a solid defensive midfielder who started his managerial career with a player/manager job at Sporting, he was appointed national team coach back in 2010 and guided Portugal to semifinals of 2012 Euro Championships. He likes to build his team on the basis of good defense and Ronaldo will be the key player for them which is not a surprise.
Portugal Possible Starting Lineup:
Portugal use a traditional 4-3-3 formation where Ronaldo at the left wing has the full licence to move around where ever and however he wants. While Postiga will lead the line in 3 man attack which is pretty much changeable throughout the game.
Key Player: Cristiano Ronaldo
It has to be him isn’t ? Ronaldo is the current Ballon d’Dor winner and a good performance in World Cup will make a case for another title in 2015. Ronaldo usualy start on the wings but he can switch and swap position as he likes.
Young player to watch out for ? – William Carvalho:
played in the playoff games against Sweden, he came through youth setups and played in every setup. He play in the centre midfield role with some good attributes of tough tackling and tracking back. He is the one club will be keeping their eyes on.
