City are back in the title race with a massive win against the Baggies and now are just 6 points behind Liveprool with a game in hand. Can manuel pelligrini turn things around at the etihad ?
It was Argentina trio who done the damage as all three goals were scored by south americans in the first half, it was abaleta who scored the first goal, when West Brom keeper save Aguero shot but it rebound straight to Pablo who headed home his first goal of the season. The night got bad to worse for West Brom in 10th minute when Aguero scored a brilliant goal from a 20 yard out.
Credit to baggies though as they did not lose hope and created a superb counter attack which lead to away team goal, it was a mess of a freekick by city which lead to the counter. It took another 20 minutes before city restored their 2 goal lead and this time through Martin Demichelis who scored from a corner kick to make it 3-1.
Now City have 74 points of 34 games, which puts them 6 points behind Liverpool but city have played a game less, their last 4 fixtures are against Crystal Palace (away), Everton (away), Aston Villa (Home) and West Ham (Home). But the most important game for them is Liverpool-Chelsea one where they would hope that Chelsea wins the game to give city a route back into the title race.
